SERCEV

SERÇEV was founded in 2002. Since that date, SERCEV works for improving  education, health, social, cultural rights and benefits as well as promoting sports and arts inclusion for individuals with cerebral palsy and their families.

SERÇEV also works with educational institutions, hospitals and rehabilitation organizations to guide individuals with cerebral palsy and their families.  SERÇEV aims to further academic cooperation  with universities to provide updated information to families.

The Association for Well-being of Children with Cerebral Palsy (SERÇEV) is a non-governmental organization with a view to support children with multi-disabilities as well as their parents to fully integrate them into society.  Main goal of SERÇEV is to advocate for children with CP and their families to receive proper education, health care and social services on an equal rights basis.

SERCEV Executive Board Members are families that have children with CP. Board of Academics consist of pediatricians, neurologists, physical therapists,occupational therapists, ophthalmologists, phsycologists and social workers.

SERCEV is supported by a large group of volunteers. n advocacy, SERÇEV İacts as a bridge between  CP families  and Government agencies like  Ministry of National Education,  Ministry of Health and Ministry of Family and Social Policies. SERCEV also maintains contact with private special care insitutions, employment agencies, universities, social services education and PT, OT education as well as with assistive care institutions.

SERCEV assists CP individuals and families for rights based advocacy on their right to proper education, the right for employment, social rights, therapy and medical costs reimbursement, transportation needs and cost exemptions, tax exemptions and benefits.

SERCEV’s mission is to reach out to all disabled people in Turkey, be their shelter and offer a remedy for their problems. Our aim is to reintegrate them into the society as proud and happy individuals.
