Intellectual Output O8 - Game Software

The structuring of the game will be planned in relation to the existing legislation (legal statues), analysis of the educational curriculum design (analysis), and characteristics of the subjects, with disability or no, who attend the designed (Categorization) spaces. Additional data will be obtained by observing students in addressing the proposed designing theme (DESIGN CRITERIA). 

During these activities, the main features of the game, like environment, interface, tools and modes of interaction, are defined. This is the first game dedicated to the architectural design, that simulates the user-space interaction on the basis of Design for All principles, and that is designed to be used in the educational field. This interaction mode allows to communicate easily with the new generation of designers, by inserting the theme of inclusive design as a logic of the game itself (and therefore of the project). This can be seen as an innovative approach. 

Features related to the protagonist and the physical space, furnishings and activities/motions that must be performed within the environment become parameters of the game itself. 

For a large and regular use of the Game, it will be evaluated the ability of the system to interface with other available libraries and game compatibility with files coming from modelling software. 

The assessment also includes the skills and budgets of IT firm.
